Monica A. Coleman is professor of  Africana studies at the University of Delaware. Prior to that, she was a professor of constructive theology and African American religions and co-director of the Center for Process Studies at Claremont School of Theology. She is the author or editor of several books, including “Making a Way Out of No Way: A Womanist Theology” and her memoir, “Bipolar Faith: A Black Woman’s Journey with Depression and Faith.”
