Austin Almaguer serves as lead pastor at Vienna Baptist Church in Vienna, Virginia. A native Texan, he earned a bachelor’s degree in religion from Baylor University and a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary with a focus on the intersection of theology and social justice.
He serves in leadership for Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement (VOICE) and is a former board member of the District of Columbia Baptist Convention and of the Coordinating Council for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia.
He coaches clergy around the country in community organizing for innovative congregational ministry and missions through the Thriving in Ministry initiative and the V3 Movement.
