D. Scott Russell
Episcopal Chaplain, Rutgers University
The Rev. D. Scott Russell has served as the Episcopal chaplain at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, since 2016.
Russell also serves as the ecumenical and interfaith officer for the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey and as the chair of its LGBTQ Commission. He has served as a parish trainer with the diocese’s Anti-Racism Commission, on the Reparations Commission, and on the Committee on the Priesthood, helping individuals discern a call to ministry, both lay and ordained.
