David Ostendorf is a United Church of Christ Minister serving as Executive Director of the Chicago-based Center for New Community, a national organization building community, justice, and equality. His community-level experience with Christian, Muslim, and Jewish leaders and with congregations on race, religion, and worker justice issues continues to shape the organization’s work.

Christian leaders from a variety of roles are welcome to apply. The grants provide “balcony time” to reflect on accomplishments, broaden perspectives and discern next steps. The application deadline is May 2, 2025.
