The Rev. Katie Crowe is the senior pastor of Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church in Durham, North Carolina. Before that, she served as associate minister for service and mission at First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has a bachelor's degree from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary.

Through the Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants Program, the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship seeks to foster, strengthen and sustain well-grounded public worship throughout the United States and Canada. The program has two grant streams: Grants for Teacher-Scholars and Grants for Worshiping Communities.
