Gender-affirming surgery threatens ‘unique dignity’ of a person, Vatican says
CNN: The Vatican has issued a strong warning against “gender theory” and said that any gender-affirming surgery risks threatening “the unique dignity” of a person, in a new document signed off and approved by Pope Francis.

Associated Press: The Rev. Dr. Cecil L. “Chip” Murray, an influential pastor and civil rights leader who used his tenure at one of Los Angeles’ oldest churches to uplift the predominantly Black neighborhoods of South Los Angeles following one of the country’s worst race riots, has died. He was 94.

Indiana appeals court upholds injunction on abortion ban, citing religious liberty
Religion News Service: The ruling was another win for those who say their religious beliefs direct them to have abortions prohibited by the ban.
