Ross Kane

Director of doctoral programs, Virginia Theological Seminary

The Rev. Dr. Ross Kane is the director of doctoral programs and assistant professor of theology, ethics, and culture at Virginia Theological Seminary. Before that he served as senior associate rector of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia.

He has an M.Div. from Duke Divinity School and a doctorate from the University of Virginia. Before entering the priesthood, he was an appointed missionary of the Episcopal Church, working with the New Sudan Council of Churches to strengthen ties between the Sudanese church and Western partners. He also is an amateur jazz musician.
