Diane M. Millis is a leadership consultant, educator, and spiritual director and the author of "Deepening Engagement: Essential Wisdom for Listening and Leading with Purpose, Meaning and Joy" and "Conversation - the Sacred Art: Practicing Presence in an Age of Distraction." She has taught for more than 25 years in the fields of spirituality, communication studies, family studies and human development. The Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants Program at the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship is designed to foster, strengthen and sustain well-grounded worship in congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Two streams of grants are offered: to teacher-scholars and to worshiping communities.
