Edgardo Colón-Emeric is dean of Duke Divinity School and the Ruth and A. Morris Williams, Jr. Professor of Theology and Christian Ministry. He is an ordained elder in the N.C. Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. His research interests focus on the intersections of dogmatic theology and Hispanic questions. He is author of the book, "Óscar Romero’s Theological Vision: Liberation and the Transfiguration of the Poor."
