Holly Beretto is a Houston-based writer who covers the arts, education, history and interesting personalities. Her work has appeared in Houstonia magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Texas Catholic Herald and Santa Clara Magazine. She holds a master’s degree from St. Louis University and a bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University.

A native New Englander, Beretto has lived in Texas for nearly 30 years. She is a communications and marketing strategist and has worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. She’s currently the director of marketing and business development at a Houston law firm.
