Pastor and writer

The Rev. Isaac S. Villegas is an ordained Mennonite minister. He has served as president of the North Carolina Council of Churches and as a member of the denominational board of the Mennonite Church USA. He is the author of “Migrant God: A Christian Vision for Immigrant Justice”(Eerdmans, 2025), and his work appears regularly in The Christian Century.

Villegas has a B.A. from Westmont College and an M.Div. from Duke Divinity School.
