Liz Walker
Founding Director, Cory Johnson Program for Post-Traumatic Healing
Liz Walker is the founding director of the Cory Johnson Program for Post-Traumatic Healing. Prior to that, she was the pastor of Roxbury Presbyterian Church in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She is a former television journalist, the first Black weeknight news anchor in Boston.
Walker has expanded her Roxbury-based model of transformative healing trauma support sites around the country and has traveled to the Middle East to train Christian leaders in Palestine. She is the author of “No One Left Alone: A Story of How Community Helps Us Heal.”
An avid cyclist and rowing enthusiast, Walker is the mother of three and grandmother of two. She splits her time between Boston and Sarasota, Florida.
