Logan (Mehl-Laituri) Isaac is an author, advocate and academic who focuses on the people and ideas left in the wake of war. He is executive officer of Centurions Guild, which supports military veterans and their families by “creating a space in which they can discern the distinction between Christian faith and military service.” He is the author of “Reborn on the Fourth of July: The Challenge of Faith, Patriotism & Conscience,” a memoir which tells the story of his journey from soldier to peace activist. He has a master's of theological studies from Duke Divinity School and is a candidate for master's degree in theology at St Mary’s College, the University of St Andrews. Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants

The Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants Program at the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship is designed to foster, strengthen and sustain well-grounded worship in congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Two streams of grants are offered: to teacher-scholars and to worshiping communities.

Grant proposal due date options include October 15, 2023, or February 15 or June 15, 2024.
