Michael O’Loughlin is the national correspondent for America: The Jesuit Review and author of "Hidden Mercy: AIDS, Catholics, and the Untold Stories of Compassion in the Face of Fear." Previously he was a staff writer for The Boston Globe and for the independent news site Crux. He also writes for In All Things, the blog of America magazine; BustedHalo.com; and The Huffington Post. Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants

The Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants Program at the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship is designed to foster, strengthen and sustain well-grounded worship in congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Two streams of grants are offered: to teacher-scholars and to worshiping communities.

Grant proposal due date options include October 15, 2023, or February 15 or June 15, 2024.
