Timothy Larsen holds the Carolyn and Fred McManis Chair of Christian Thought at Wheaton College. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Wheaton College and a Ph.D. in history from University of Stirling, Scotland. His intellectual interests are in the areas of British history, historical theology, Christian thought, and intellectual currents and controversies. His most recent book is “The Slain God: Anthropologists and the Christian Faith” (Oxford University Press, 2014).

Christian leaders from a variety of roles are welcome to apply. The grants provide “balcony time” to reflect on accomplishments, broaden perspectives and discern next steps. The application deadline is May 2, 2025.
