Sally Hicks joined Faith & Leadership in June 2008. Before that, she worked for six years as a senior writer in Duke University’s Office of News & Communications. She also has worked as a reporter, writer, editorial writer and editor for several newspapers, including The (Raleigh, N.C.) News & Observer and the St. Petersburg (now Tampa Bay) Times of Florida. She has a bachelor’s degree in Classics and English from McGill University and a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University, as well as a certificate in documentary arts from Duke's Center for Documentary Studies.
