Meghan Brown
Pastor
The Rev. Meghan Brown is the acting co-pastor of Georgetown Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. She is a lifelong Presbyterian who grew up in Dallas and studied fine arts at Harvard College.
As a Young Adult Volunteer on the U.S.-Mexico border, Brown served with Frontera de Cristo, a bi-national border ministry, before attending Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. During her time in Georgia, Brown volunteered in refugee resettlement, worked as a chaplain at a large trauma hospital and at a geriatric hospital, and completed a certificate for interfaith spiritual direction.
Over the last decade, Brown has worked for the Presbyterian Church in Canada in Ottawa, Ontario; for the Young Adults in Global Mission Program (ELCA) in Mexico City; and for Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Washington. She became associate pastor at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church in 2022 and became acting co-pastor in 2025.
