
Sue Nichols Zimmerman
Journalist
Sue Nichols Zimmerman is a Michigan native living in Ann Arbor. She recently retired from Michigan State University after more than 30 years as a science writer and communications strategist, covering research on campus and across the world, including pandas in China, tigers in Nepal and animal welfare in Brazil’s favelas. She is a former newspaper reporter and editor with a bachelor's degree in journalism and is a fellow in the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
