Grant Wacker is the Gilbert T. Rowe Professor Emeritus of Christian History at Duke Divinity School and the author of "America's Prophet: Billy Graham and the Shaping of a Nation." He is a former president of the American Society of Church History and has served as a senior editor of the quarterly journal Church History: Studies in Christianity and Culture. He is a lay member of Orange United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
