Paul Kawimbe: What's Christian about Christian leadership?

‘There is no leadership that is Christian,’ says Bishop Paul J.M. Kawimbe. The distinction is that Christian leaders act with integrity, humility and meekness.

Bishop Paul J.M. Kawimbe is president of the African Methodist Episcopal Church’s Global Council of Bishops and presides over the 17th Episcopal District of the AME Church, which comprises Burundi, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda and Zambia. A native of Lusaka, Zambia, Kawimbe is one of a growing number of native Africans assuming leadership positions in the church.
