Christian leaders, particularly in the Reformed tradition, have a humbling awareness of their own brokenness, says the Rev. Dr. Brian K. Blount. Blount is president of Union Theological Seminary & Presbyterian School of Christian Education, a position he has held since 2007.
Prior to his appointment, Blount was a New Testament professor at Princeton Theological Seminary. His academic interests are in the synoptic gospels, especially Mark; Revelation; and cultural interpretation of biblical texts. He is the author of several books, including “Can I Get A Witness? Reading Revelation Through African-American Culture.”
